Do your best, that is all you can do. Strength cannot be measured on a scale; it is innately deeper than that, and comes from the inside out, not the reverse. Perfection is not the goal.
Wendy offers a wide array of class types, levels, and hybrids. She incorporates breath into all her classes as a fundamental part of all movements on the mat and apparatus. The Principles of Pilates are always incorporated into all levels: concentration, centering, control, flow, breath, and precision.
The goal of pilates is to strengthen the body and core muscles, improve balance, flexibility, correct imbalances, improve posture, and work in a healthy range of motion.
It's important to learn Pilates from the essential exercises, before progressing to the next level/s. All levels are offered, from basic to advanced.
Wendy's goal is to keep her clients' workouts mixed, and always fun and challenging.
• HIIT-- High Intensity Interval Training is a dynamic, challenging workout, meant to challenge clients with high reps, cardio intervals, stretch work, and circuit training. Mixed apparatus/props.
• Yoga/Pilates Hybrid-- Wendy loves to bring her yoga background into her pilates training, working towards longer holds, flexibility work, and recovery work. Mixed apparatus, mat, foam roller, and other props.
